Removable Appliances
Simultaneous development of the upper and lower dental arches
During treatment with bonded appliances placed on children’s teeth, we allow the simultaneous development of both the upper and lower dental arches, ensuring optimal functional and aesthetic harmony of the face. At the same time, this approach helps avoid tooth extractions in up to 98% of future orthodontic treatments with fixed braces, which also results in a shorter overall treatment duration.
Advantages of treatment with fixed bonded appliances:
- Fixed devices attached to children’s teeth
- Continuous 24-hour action with faster results
- Virtually invisible and do not disturb the child
- Short treatment duration (6–10 months)
- High comfort and aesthetics due to their small size
- Easier oral hygiene maintenance with low risk of tooth decay
- Require minimal care from children or parents
- Improvement in nasal breathing function
- Greater stability of results after completion of treatment
Disadvantages of treatment with fixed bonded appliances:
- Initial adaptation period where children may experience discomfort as the appliances are not removable
- Possibility of debonding (loosening) in the mouth, which may cause discomfort and require an urgent clinic visit
Fixed orthodontic appliances allow rapid space creation within the dental arches, facilitating the proper eruption of all permanent teeth in the future and completing skeletal correction within 6–10 months.
